Daniel
de los Reyes

Daniel de los Reyes was born in New York and raised across San Juan, New York and Las Vegas, in a family where rhythm wasn’t an extracurricular activity or even simply a profession. It was a language, passed from one generation to the next.

His father, renowned drummer and percussionist Walfredo de los Reyes Sr., placed Daniel inside a remarkable musical lineage with deep roots in Cuban music. But inheritance only explains where Daniel began. What followed became entirely his own.

Across a career that has moved freely between Latin music, pop, rock, soul and country, Daniel has built a reputation not simply for technical command, but for the ability to bring movement, personality and joy into the music around him.

Today, Daniel performs with Zac Brown Band, bringing the full vocabulary of that musical journey into one of America’s most dynamic live bands.
